Frequently asked questions

Each session is tailored to you and what you would like support with.
We begin by exploring what is currently happening in your life - including your circumstances, challenges, patterns and what you would like to shift or work towards.
From there, we use muscle monitoring to identify subconscious stress patterns, beliefs or internal responses that may be contributing to your experience.
Sessions may then include a blend of Holistic Kinesiology, Mind-Body Medicine, PSYCH-K®, nervous system support and emotional stress balancing, depending on your individual needs.
The focus is always on creating greater awareness, balance and alignment across mind and body in a safe, collaborative space.

No, come as you are with your intention of what you would like to work on. Wear comfortable clothing and bring an open mind. The work is gentle and deeply supportive.
-
Not at all. Some clients come with a very specific goal or challenge, while others simply know they want things to feel different within themselves or their lives. Together, we explore what may be sitting beneath the surface and identify the areas most ready for support and transformation.
-
People come to this work for a wide range of reasons.
Some are experiencing stress, anxiety, overwhelm, low self-worth, emotional patterns, burnout, physical symptoms, or feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves.
Others are looking to create change in areas such as confidence, emotional wellbeing, relationships, clarity, purpose, abundance, or a greater sense of alignment and fulfilment in their lives.
You don’t need to have a specific issue or label, many people simply feel ready for something to shift and want support to understand what may be happening beneath the surface and how to move forward differently.
-
Muscle monitoring (sometimes called muscle testing) is a gentle kinesiology technique used to communicate with the subconscious mind and body.
It helps identify stress patterns, subconscious beliefs, emotional imbalances and areas where the nervous system may be under stress or out of balance.
This process allows sessions to be guided by the body’s innate wisdom rather than only the conscious mind.
-
Sessions often include reflective conversation, discussion and coaching-style support. Exploring your experiences and increasing awareness can be an important part of the process.
However, this work is not counselling or traditional talk therapy.
While we may explore what is happening in your life, the focus is less on analysing the past in depth and more on supporting subconscious change, emotional regulation, nervous system balance and mind-body approaches that help create new patterns moving forward.
This allows us to work not only with insight and awareness, but also with the underlying beliefs and responses that influence how you think, feel and experience life.
-
While we are often aware of our conscious thoughts and intentions, much of how we think, feel and behave is influenced by subconscious beliefs and patterns operating beneath awareness.
These patterns are formed through life experiences, conditioning and emotional responses, and can shape how we perceive ourselves, others and what we believe is possible.
Because beliefs influence perception, and perception influences behaviour, subconscious patterns can play a significant role in the way we experience life.
When these patterns shift, new thoughts, choices and behaviours can naturally emerge.
-
Emotional release can sometimes be a natural part of the process.
Sessions are held in a supportive, grounded and non-judgemental space where emotions are welcomed and held safely.
You are always supported to move at your own pace throughout the session.
-
Individual sessions can be a great starting point and may support clarity, awareness or meaningful shifts around what is currently happening beneath the surface.
However, deeper and more lasting change often comes through consistency and ongoing subconscious work over time.
Transformation Journeys are designed to support this deeper process, providing continuity, integration and support for working through recurring patterns, beliefs and emotional responses over time.
If you’re unsure where to start, an initial session is often the best first step.
-
Every person and situation is different.
Some people experience significant shifts within one or two sessions, while others choose to work together over a longer period of time, particularly when addressing longstanding patterns, complex life experiences, chronic stress or deeper layers of emotional conditioning.
The work we do together creates awareness, insight and opportunities for transformation, however lasting change also depends on your willingness to engage with the process, integrate what emerges and take aligned action between sessions.
Personal growth is rarely about a single breakthrough. More often, it is a process of gradually uncovering and transforming layers over time.
This is why transformation journeys are designed as supportive containers that allow us to work more deeply with subconscious patterns, emotional and physical wellbeing, nervous system regulation and lasting change.
-
Yes. The mind and body are deeply interconnected, and many people are surprised to discover how much unresolved stress, trauma, emotional experiences and subconscious patterns can influence physical wellbeing.
In mind-body medicine, symptoms are not viewed simply as something to eliminate. They can also be valuable messengers, offering insight into areas of life that may require attention, awareness or change.
Physical symptoms and health conditions can have many contributing factors, including physical, environmental, genetic, lifestyle, emotional and stress-related influences. Traditional Chinese Medicine recognises that when the body's natural flow of Qi becomes disrupted or imbalanced, physical, emotional and energetic disharmony may occur.
This work supports greater awareness of those mind-body connections while helping reduce stress, create balance, regulate the nervous system and address subconscious patterns that may be contributing to what you are experiencing.
This work complements but does not diagnose, treat, cure or replace medical advice or treatment.

Yes. This work is designed to be gentle, non-invasive and client-centred.
While sessions are always guided by what feels safe and appropriate for you, growth sometimes involves exploring new perspectives, developing greater awareness and stepping beyond familiar comfort zones.
This work is not about forcing change, reliving trauma or “pushing through” emotions, but rather creating greater awareness, subconscious alignment and emotional safety for transformation to occur more naturally and sustainably.
Please note this work is not intended to replace medical, psychiatric or psychological care where required.
-
Every person is different. Some clients notice shifts in awareness, emotions, behaviours, physical wellbeing or life circumstances very quickly, while for others transformation happens more gradually over time.
The depth and sustainability of change can depend on many factors, including subconscious patterns, nervous system regulation, emotional readiness, consistency and the aligned actions taken between sessions.
This work is not about perfection or instant transformation, but about creating meaningful and lasting change from the inside out.
-
